Albert Lea is very fortunate to have an excellent education system. The school district is prepared to deliver what our youth need in order to be prepared to enter the 21st Century. Albert Lea provides a diverse course offering, and the latest in technology, all taught in modern state-of-the-art facilities. District #241 has over 100 teachers with 10 years of experience or more, and 124 teachers with their Master’s degree.

Locations in Albert Lea, Austin and the Owatonna College & University Center make it easy to complete one of the more than 50 career programs and 32 transfer programs. These include technical programs that train students for great jobs in as little as nine months and liberal arts degrees that easily transfer to four-year colleges and universities. More than 90 percent of Riverland graduates move on to the job or school of their choice.
